BDI Deutsche Telekom Stiftung Innovation Indicator 2014 2014.12.01.

The Innovation Indicator has been published annually on behalf of the German Telekom Foundation and the Federation of German Industries since 2005. It shows how capable the innovation systems of different countries are. Currently, 35 countries are being evaluated via 38 single indicators.

Thomson Reuters 2014 Top 100 Global Innovators 2014.12.01.

The fourth-annual Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators report showcases the 100 most innovative organizations around the world in 2014. It highlights changes in list representation, industry-wise and geographically, as well as from a time-trend standpoint.

European Regional Competitiveness Scoreboard 2014.12.01.

The PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, together with the S3 Platform of the Joint Research Centre's Institute of Prospective Technology Studies have created a powerful tool for analyzing a region’s competitive position and its position in global economic networks using a visualization of actual regional data.

The French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) shows that there is a correlation between export and innovation and regional ecosystems.

PwC's 2014 Global Innovation 1000: Proven Paths to Innovation Success 2014.12.01.

For the 10th year, PwC's Strategy& analyzed R&D; investment at the 1,000 biggest-spending public companies in the world. In addition to undertaking their recurring analysis of R&D; spending trends, they interviewed and surveyed more than 500 R&D; executives and innovation leaders to get their perspectives on changes in innovation at their companies over the last decade and what they expect in the 10 years to come.

Biotechnology is among today's most innovative technologies and is a significant driver of economic growth within the bioeconomy. We are now able to produce bio-based products in more eco-efficient and sustainable ways. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working in the biotechnology field, which are behind much of the innovation and job creation taking place in Europe, are among those harvesting the potential of the bioeconomy. The EU report "SMEs' Participation in FP7 projects in the Biotechnologies Activity" provides a comprehensive overview of the measures taken by the European Commission to encourage SME participation in EU-funded projects within the FP7 activity 'Biotechnologies', and of the opportunities that SMEs found. It updates knowledge on SMEs' profiles, share of funding received, their added value for projects, business benefits, etc.
